My daughter described this as a favourite Christmas gift. By Boxing Day she had a beautiful new beanie.

It’s a super cute beanie that you can finish making in few hours. Love it!

This was bought as part of a birthday gift for a 30 year old woman in a high pressure job that wanted to learn how to crochet. I was so impressed with the whole kit as was the gift recipient.

Excited to start my first crochet

I made this beanie easily and I loved the pattern. It was an easy pattern to follow and I made numerous beanies in different colours for women and men. I bought the kit so I had all of the things needed. The yarn and crochet hook and sewing needle all were compatible so I didn’t have to think of buying anything special.

This is a great starting piece for a newbie like me as it was small enough that I was able to finish it in a couple of days and had good momentum. The yarn is beautiful and soft and the colour I picked is stunning! The instructions were a little tricky to follow at first - there's not much given and the videos provided were basic stitch videos rather than videos specific to the project - it would have been useful to have specific videos pertaining to the beanie (e.g. how to sew the beanie together rather than just having a video on a basic slip stitch). Other than that a very enjoyable experience!

This was super easy to follow. Loved the online resources and being able to tick the boxes as I went to know where I was up to. Love my new beanie!

As a beginner in crochet, I was under the impression that the instructions were going to be beginner friendly. Even with the videos of showing how to do the stitches, they should’ve included videos related to the project or even drawings to demonstrate what’s a back loop etc. I had to go to TikTok and ask for help of friends to figure some things out. Also, by the end of it the beanie was very small so I had to undo the whole thing and now I’ll just follow someone else’s pattern.

I think for sweaters I’ll be buying the pattern from somewhere else as I’ve seen comments saying they all turned small as well. Maybe they should add notes on sizes like (Small do X stitches, M do XX stitches etc)

As a non crochet gal I was a little hesitant to give this a go. It has been a hoot. Thanks loves.

I am experienced with crochet, but haven’t done it in years. I really wanted to try the wool! Was easier to order a kit and get everything needed that to try and calculate for myself.The kit was perfect, and the girls at work were very impressed. Instructions and videos were easy to follow and the final product is fabulous.
