After years of just not ‘getting’ knitting, I bought this and everything just ‘clicked’. The instructions weee way to understand and the yarn is gorgeous in both colour and feel. I have now bought another 3 kits and each a little more challenging.

I had never knitted before in my life, although I can crochet. I looked at this kit a few times before I took the leap and tried it. I looked at the videos and also had a girls night in with a friend who can knit and she showed me the ropes over dinner and I looked at the videos when I got stuck on my own. Turns out I’m a continental knitter (left handed yarn over, with right handed knitting). I whipped this up pretty quickly, just by doing a little each night while watching telly. I’m sure I didn’t sew it together correctly but I did it so it looks the same on both sides and it looks fine. I’m super happy with how it turned out and the hot pink looks great and I wore it everywhere over the winter.

I knitted this for my daughter. Was so proud of myself. I made some mistaks so covered these up after with crochet flowers and then added more flowers so it looked like it was meant to be. My daughter loves it and wears it all the time.

Having never knitted a cardi before this is perfect. I am loving the way it is growing quickly and turning into my own, hand-made cardigan

I recently completed the Jane Cardigan, and as a true beginner, I’m genuinely proud of how far I’ve come. Did my cardigan turn out perfect? Not at all. I made lots of mistakes along the way, undoing stitches, re-knitting sections, and sometimes just going with whatever happened. By the time I got to the back, I accidentally reversed a stitch from a knit to a purl in the middle, and at that point, I decided to embrace it.

In the end, these little mistakes turned my cardigan into something truly unique. It might not match the original pattern exactly, but it tells the story of my very first knitting project, full of learning, persistence, and a bit of happy chaos. The oversized, cozy fit makes it even better, and finishing a whole wearable piece felt like a real accomplishment.

If you’re new to knitting, this is a fantastic starter project, mistakes and all. I am now looking forward to knit a rainbow yarn beanie for my daughter (Maybe I should have done that first? No doubt it will be much quicker!)

Im loving this knit! Straightforward, fun and it gives me a little spring in step to have a new hobby! I can’t wait to wear this cute cardi!

I can highly recommend cardigang for anyone who is a social media doom scrolling addict as I am. Since I have started this project I haven’t felt the need to scroll mindlessly online. Cannot wait to start my next project.

I did it!!!! I can’t believe I managed to complete this project, as a complete beginner. Never thought knitting would be so relaxing and rewarding. I ordered the cardigan Jane kit and couldn’t put those needles down. It’s so much fun and easy to follow and learn to knit. Cannot wait to start my next project.
