Obsessed! First time knitting anything and definitely not the last time thanks to Cardigang. Reminded me of the days when my grandmother tried to teach me when I was young but back then I couldn’t understand how she did it.

Love love Cardigang, I’ve never knitted in my life (I’m 58) but always wanted to give it a try, Cardigang made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Thank you for helping me get a sense of achievement.

Absolutely love this scarf! My first time doing this! It took me a few tries to get the hang of it and learning from the videos but after a few watches and a few tries, I got the hang of it and absolutely am obsessed. Already looking to buy my next one!!

Customers praised this crochet kit for being beginner-friendly and easy to follow. The thick wool feels great and creates a nice heavy winter piece. Some noted instructions could be clearer, and larger sizes may need extra yarn for stitching. Customer support is responsive with helpful photo guidance.

Great kit but please update the dimensions!

I think I'm a bit over knitting atm so decided to purchase the Willow cardigan crochet kit. This was so much more fun than knitting!! Really easy to work up and construct. I did make mine a bit longer and I suppose my only gripe with this kit is that the product page / QR code in the kit which you scan goes to a page with incomplete information. I raised this with their online chat on 18/11/24 and someone was going to get back to me, they never did. It's now 10/01/25 and I see the page is still not updated either. It would definitely assist the purchasing process to provide this information.

So easy to make!

This worked up super quickly. I was worried whether there would be enough yarn - but shouldn’t have given it a second thought - it was perfect! Love the colour and easy to follow instructions (both the card and the videos).

Willow, you’ll keep me warm in the wind

Willow was my first crochet garment project, having mastered the bags and hats. Willow was so enjoyable to crochet being all the same stitch and worked up in no time.
Would definitely recommend Willow to others and the acrylic feels very nice and soft next to the skin.
Can’t wait to wear it

First attempt at crocheting

Tried the knitting patterns and thought I’d learn how to crochet and so far I’m pretty impressed - although I did end up unpicking the first part several times but finally got the hang of it. The pattern is easy to follow and videos invaluable. Loving the process of making it and learning a new skill. Not finished yet but absolutely enjoying crocheting.

A good starter kit for crochet learners

I took a cardigang workshop earlier in the year and made a beanie and thought I was ok. This project definitely made me a better crochet-er though so highly recommend if you're new but know a bit of crocheting. I love the feel of the thick wool and I can see it being a nice winter piece. It's also a bit heavy which I like. Definitely have to be a bit careful wearing it around though as I can see clumsy me getting it caught on stuff.

That being said, I did the cardigang as a medium size and had just enough balls of wool for the parts but maybe not enough to stitch them up. I might use some scraps I have from other projects so just be cautious if you're making the cardigan larger than L size.

As for the instructions on the website I think it could be worded better in some areas or linked to the video tutorial so I don't have to search videos again and again. That being said, it's generally easy to follow and the videos are easy to follow. I only needed to contact help once and when I did I was surprised how quickly they responded with photographic help!

I also love the instructions card but it's better to have both because the card might not have instructions the website does. Website also has good videos.

It was a great project and I can't wait to pick my next one!

Why your brain will love this

Your brain’s new bestie

Knitting gives your hands something to do and your mind somewhere to rest. The steady rhythm can help things feel a little quieter, especially after a long day.

Confidence, stitched in

Every row is a small step forward. Watching something take shape, slowly and imperfectly, can build confidence in a way that feels gentle and earned.

Focus, without the pressure

Engaging enough to keep you present. Relaxed enough to help you unwind. It’s an easy way to focus without feeling switched on all the time.

SOMETHING YOU CAN’T BUY

You’re not just making a piece. You’re making something with time in it. Something personal, imperfect, and yours.
