This was my first crochet project and it was a perfect opportunity to learn the basics! I made the mistake of not really following through with the gauge and it cost me - I undid the whole scarf when I was 2/3 way done. But it was a learning opportunity and now I know better! The scarf was slightly shorter than I anticipated, and I had extra yarn at the end so I wish I had done a few extra stitches at the end to extend the length. But still fun and cute piece! I’ve already bought another Cardigang kit!
Such an easy pattern to follow, lots of fun to do. Only problem was it gave me a false sense of confidence so I then tried to tackle a different project and discovered not all patterns are this easy to understand.

As usual, Cardigang delivers. Patterns are so fun and easy to read and I love that you can follow video tutorials with lots of 'how to' hints. I am no knitting pro, however Cardigang makes me feel like I am the Queen of crochet. I haven't completed my scarf yet but it is well on the way. Trust me - it's a goodie! And the Spring Fling yarn is to 'dye' for - see what I did there? Please don't hate on me grammar gurus!
I swear by this crochet kit! I had never touched a crochet hook and I completed this scarf with no major dramas within 3 days. I could not put it down over the weekend. I loved every minute of it and I loved the kit, and the training videos. It is all so clear and professional. If you are thinking of giving crochet a try, don't hesitate. I highly recommend it! I am now trying another kit and this time it is knitting.... Also loving it!

This was my very first time crocheting and I’m obsessed! The instructions were super clear and cardigangs YouTube tutorials were my saving grace. It was the perfect project to wind down in front of the TV with. 10/10 (bonus - I used to leftover yarn to make a matching hair ribbon)
