Obsessed! First time knitting anything and definitely not the last time thanks to Cardigang. Reminded me of the days when my grandmother tried to teach me when I was young but back then I couldn’t understand how she did it.

Love love Cardigang, I’ve never knitted in my life (I’m 58) but always wanted to give it a try, Cardigang made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Thank you for helping me get a sense of achievement.

Absolutely love this scarf! My first time doing this! It took me a few tries to get the hang of it and learning from the videos but after a few watches and a few tries, I got the hang of it and absolutely am obsessed. Already looking to buy my next one!!

Customers praised this knit kit for its well-designed pattern and soft, cozy wool. Many found the instructions "easy to follow" with helpful videos, perfect for beginners. The finished cardigan is "ridiculously warm" and fits well. One customer noted yarn breaking during seaming. Overall, highly recommended for all skill levels.

Love the style!

I love the style and cropped length of this cardigan - so cute! Prior to this I had made a cardigan, beanie, and jumper, and the jumper used the seed stitch so I was familiar with that skill. I am 165cm tall and chose to create the size 2 pattern (AUS 10-12) and I am happy with the size. I added 2 extra rows of stockinette in the sleeves and 2 rows of ribbing as well as my first cardigan was just slightly too short when I moved my arms. I could probably have done without the 2 stockinette rows but I like extra length in the cuff so would add to the rib stitch if I did this again. I cast off my sleeves way too loosely in this cardigan so I would try and cast off a little more tightly next time as the sleeves fall down over my hands being so loose. I enjoyed making this cardigan in the one colour as it made it much easier and quicker to weave in all the ends at the end, and it was a quicker process along the way as I didn’t need to change colours. Love this cardigan and can’t wait to wear it!

Love my new cardigan!

I had so much fun making this and getting the hang of a few new stitches. I loved being about to track my progress by ticking off the rows in the instruction book. When I put on the finished product it was way warmer than I was expecting it to be which is great! The only thing that would have made this better for me was if the tutorial videos were a bit slower and more in depth. Particularly the video for sewing it all together. Considering this was my first time doing this I found the needle placement for where and how to sew hard to see/follow at times. Also more direction for how to evenly line up the panels, sleeves and seed rows would have been super helpful.
Otherwise I’m happy with what I’ve created and looking forward to using what I’ve learnt to start my next project!

Easy to Follow Pattern

Good quality equipment and the pattern is easy to follow. I am an experienced crocheter but beginner knitting and would definitely recommend this as a beginner project.

Great pattern

The key to the kits is a well designed knit and this is. Halfway through knitting but it’s growing quickly and easy to follow pattern. Looking forward to doing more knits!

Amazing product

Even for my neurodivergent brain that struggles with forms and patterns could do this. The videos made a real difference and I could follow them.

This kit was easy to follow and so therapeutic to make. For a beginner knitter, I’m very impressed with how it turned out. So proud!

Amy Cardigan in Blushing Hard

Having so much fun with all this knitting! LOVE the Amy Cardigan. I keep saying this, but probably my favourite so far! And it was really interesting to knit with the seed stitch (thankfully easy) . Hanging out for a bit more cold weather so I can wear it :) Thanks for such beautiful knits to play with Cardigang!

This one was my very first project from Cardigang! The neckline was challenging and I stuffed up the last bit of front panel but who cares! Very warm and the color cheers me up :)

This was my second Cardigang knit and it was such a joy to make! The patterns are such a breeze to follow which makes the knitting such a pleasure, almost so it’s bittersweet when the project is done! I knitted the Amy cardigan in a size small and absolutely love it!

Fun and easy to knit. My only challenge was doing the texture parts in the black, but that was the colour chosen by my daughter. My eyesight is not what it used to be.

Having only knitted scarves and blankets, I was keen to discover if I could knit my first cardigan. The yarn was lovely and soft and I loved how easy and clear the instructions were, so much better to how knitting instructions are usually written! The only negative was that the yarn kept breaking when trying to seam the pieces together, I ended up using other yarn that I already had in my stash to finish the seaming. After having completed my first ever cardigan, I am now feeling so much more confident to knit more cardigans and sweaters!

Loved this pattern - was my second Cardigang (first cardi) and the perfect step up with a few new skills to add (loved the neckline and seed stitch ). it’s turned out better than expected! Fits perfectly, cropped yet still plenty of chunky wool to wrap around and feel perfectly cosy!

I had not done any knitting for over 10 years - last time I did was as a teenage knitting scarves for my friends! Simple knit stitch every time.
So this was a little like getting back on a bicycle except I had to learn a bunch of knew stitch types. The videos on the website were extremely helpful and easy to follow. So I got back in to it really smoothly!
I love the tick boxes to make sure you don’t miss any rows!

Easy to follow pattern with glorious wool. It was a pleasure to knit this cardi. And after some trouble with one of my balls of wool, a quick email and a replacement was in the mail that day. Great customer service guys!

My second cardigang knit after dipping my toe first with the Shannon knit.
Great pattern to level up with and I loved the addition of the ribbed edging. It made the whole thing look so much more professional and a lot more complicated than it actually was.
Also loved the shade of the yarn! I chose white out and it was the perfect warm white.

What a lovely kit. Really easy instructions and the YouTube videos of all the stitches were incredibly helpful to refer back to. I came in with very minimal knitting experience but still found it really fun and easy to get the hang of.

The Amy knit kit with Heartbreaker Red wool was such a worthwhile investment. The instructions were so easy to follow. I could easily keep track of which row I was on (YAY). The wool is chunky and deliciously soft. The colour pops. I could knit and watch tv or chat (or even attend zoom meetings...). AND the coolest of my cool friends love it: they think I have mad skills and envy my wonderful, cosy, awesome cardi.

Absolutely enjoyed my second project from Cardigang, (started with the Rachel beanie) and it won’t be my last! Easy instructions to follow, though a little patience needed at the end for this cosy beauty. So made a colour statement with “purple punch” 😍

This is my second Cardigang knit, it’s definitely a little trickier than the Betty jumper and the last step of picking up 100+ stitches nearly killed me but I love the final product. It’s so ridiculously warm too, perfect for the winter change in Melbourne

Why your brain will love this

Your brain’s new bestie

Knitting gives your hands something to do and your mind somewhere to rest. The steady rhythm can help things feel a little quieter, especially after a long day.

Confidence, stitched in

Every row is a small step forward. Watching something take shape, slowly and imperfectly, can build confidence in a way that feels gentle and earned.

Focus, without the pressure

Engaging enough to keep you present. Relaxed enough to help you unwind. It’s an easy way to focus without feeling switched on all the time.

SOMETHING YOU CAN’T BUY

You’re not just making a piece. You’re making something with time in it. Something personal, imperfect, and yours.
