This blanket was very simple to knit. The instructions and accompanying videos make it easy and fun, and I'm so proud of my chunky blankie!

I made the blanket in small size for a 4yr old grandson
He loves it and although it's a bit heavy I hope it lasts and he keeps it for some time. The pattern was easy to follow.

Have so much enjoyed my first knitting project that I have already bought another one!
My son has insisted it live on his bed and doesn't notice my many mistakes.

I was so impressed by the quality and weighted feel of this finished masterpiece. It's not perfect, but made with love and perfect to gift. I've already started a second blanket in 3 colours. Surprisingly easy to knit once you master the basics in the first few rows.

Overall I loved the kit and made a blanket! I'd love to say it's perfect but it's not!
The positives for me; The pattern was easy to follow. The videos were easy to follow and learn from. The wool itself was lovely and stood up to some frustrated unravelling until I figured out my mistake (it required some rewatching videos). It arrived promptly.
The negatives for me; I needed more guidance on mistakes and how to recover from them. Given a dropped stitch is inevitable maybe the kit could have a little hook to help out. Given my unravelling situation how to get stitches back on the needle without twisting them or how to tell if they are twisted. How to find if an increased (Unintentional) stitch. I found it hard to understand the rows/stitches when trying to count and work back and ended up hoping for the best (failed!!). I could have missed some videos ??

Overall I enjoyed the kit and will try a cardigan to help learn some other skills. Definitely will continue the knitting journey!

This is such a gem of a pattern, I did get a little confused when I first had a look at the instructions but once I sat down and had a go, it was easy. Using the chunky wool makes this super fun as well! 🧶

The blanket turned out beautifully minus a little mistake I made early on (whoops!) and was very easy to do following the guide provided. The wool is wonderful and soft and the quality is excellent- highly recommend!

After completing the Jane cardigan and feeling pretty pleased with myself I decided that a bigger project was needed and this is the perfect one. I’m loving this pattern it’s straightforward and keeps me off my phone or reaching for the snacks! Love love

I loved making this blanket, it was the perfect balance of challenging and rewarding. I learnt a lot and it was a simple enough projet for me to sink my teeth into!
However, I did run out of yarn! I had to use almost a whole other ball! It was quite stressful so keep in mind you may need to add 1 more just in case. In my previous kits I've had wool left over so I'm not sure what happened!

Life time crochet girlie here. I was determined to learn how to knit this year. The kit was amazing, easy to follow, and came together fairly quick! I’d work on it a few days out of the week and hour or so. Think I had it done about the 3 week mark and I love how the blanket looks on my couch! Will definitely purchase again.
