My 11-year-old niece wanted to learn to knit, and I got her a beanie kit. She was very disciplined about practicing her stitches, and she LOVED the Pom Pom maker. It gave her something fun to make instantly, while taking her time learning to knit.

So far so good
I’m a novice at knitting. My grandmother taught me the basic knit stitch, but it’s been many years since I’ve knitted. I do a lot of crocheting. So far I’ve done ok with the kit and instructions. Hopefully I’ll create something that looks close to the photo.
