If you’re tossing up whether or not to get this kit, you absolutely should! The vest is cosy and warm and looks so good. It’s finally cold enough to wear it here in Melbourne. I got some more wool to knit this in pink!

This vest was such a fun project to work on! I learnt new skills such as picking up stitches and doing ribbing on sleeves and necklines. The Crocodile Rock wool is a dream to work with and glides effortlessly on the needles. I’ve bought more wool so I can make another vest! Thanks Cardigang for another beautiful project!

Lovely and cosy and knitted up quickly. Vest seems a bit larger than I anticipated even though I checked my guage. Kit had ample wool, I have a ball and a bit left over after making a medium and adding 4 rows of length (it would have been too cropped for me without the extra length).

I'm not a confident knitter, made a few holey scarves as a kid but never attempted something like this before. I was sick and this kit kept me sane for four days. It was super easy to follow the instructions and videos and I had a blast creating this vest. It's warm and soft and I love that I made it myself. Such a great sense of satisfaction.

Gosh I love this pattern. I'm really enjoying the knit as it's quick and easy, even with the 15mm needles. May be worth noting the way I hold my needles has changed to accommodate the larger size.

Two points.

First can you please have the gauge on the pattern itself. I found it a tad hard to find amongst everything else listed through the QR code.

Second, for some reason I didn't get the stitch markers, needle nor label in my kit, even though they are listed as being included. I have rechecked all the packaging to make sure I didn't miss them.

I am nearly done with the knitting. Halfway through, instructions are clear and easy to follow. The yarn is nice and thick, easy to knit with the knitting needles provided in the pack. It’s a good knitting pack that has all the things needed for completing the vest.

Sizing is a bit on the large side and the explanation of the complicated V neck is hard to follow - I had to unpick mine twice, to learn. Otherwise great progress in the main sections. Maybe give less experienced people more advice on tidy edges, slip stitches and sewing pieces together to make it more neater?

Reasonably easy to follow pattern and style.
