This was my first cardigang kit! Absolutely loved it, I’ve knitted scarves before but never an actual cardi! (I didn’t even have to call my mum for help!) Instructions were super easy, and the YouTube videos were helpful too. For someone who always wears black, grey and white - I LOVE the colour and I always get compliments when I wear it!!
I love this kit and it’s gotten me hooked on knitting! Easy to do despite being a total new beginner. The only thing was that some parts of the wool was poor quality - thick chunks or too thin that it would rip off!
Very new knitter so I’m very happy with the final product which I gave to my 91 year old mum in aged care - she’s getting lots of compliments!
I'd only ever knitted scarves before and hadn't done any knitting in years, so had forgotten everything. The kit and instructions and videos made it super easy. Was both fun and relaxing. It's very comfortable and warm. The hardest part was definitely choosing the colours!
I really enjoyed knitting this cardigan! The written instructions along with the videos made the process easy to follow. Yeah I messed up a few times, but I was able to fix it. Switching colors for the first time felt so exciting and finishing each piece, seeing it come together was awesome. I’ve only ever knit a scarf before, using the knit stitch the whole way. I couldn’t believe I could go from that to this!
And then putting it on for the first time, I fell in love!! So excited about the colors I chose. It’s chunky, it’s cute, it’s fun. And it’s gonna be so warm for the Chicago winter. I cannot wait to start my next knitting project!

- A needle or hook pack. We give you the option to remove this from your kit incase you already have the tools you need.
Yes, you’ll see that the needles or hook needed for that kit comes pre-selected as part of the kit inclusions.
As long as you keep them ticked, you'll get the needles or hook included, but if you un-tick the option then we won’t pack them in your kit - we’ve made them optional because some people already have the tools they need and don’t want more sent out.
Total Beginner - Experience: none at all.
These kits are perfect for anyone who's learning for the first time or wants a simple project. They all only use a few techniques and are easy to master.
Easy - Experience: maybe you've knitted a scarf before... or something just as simple.
These kits are a little more spicy and you'll learn a few more techniques than Total Beginner kits.
Intermediate - Experience: already knitted a few jumpers or similar before and ready for a new challenge.
These ones are our most complex styles, and while still relatively easy, they are best suited to someone who's got the basics down pat.
Our Merino is certified 100% Australian merino wool by both the Australian Wool Testing Authority and the International Wool Testing Authority and is from non-mulesed sheep.

Like learning anything new, there will be a bit of a learning curve but once you get it, you'll be knitting or crocheting to the moon and back 🌝!
This is perfectly normal! When you’re learning something new there’s bound to be some speed bumps. But we promise, once you get it, you won't look back!
If you get stuck and need some help, you can book a 1:1 video call with us and we can provide some personalised support.
We use standard Australian Women’s sizing. Our patterns come with the finished measurements (measured width by length) for each size included.
If you’re unsure of your size, you can measure against a favourite item at home and then match your size to the measurements provided.
We don't currently sell the patterns separately, but if that changes in the future we will be sure to let our community know via our email list and Instagram.
All orders are packed and shipped within 2 business days.
All standard and express domestic orders are shipped via our delivery partner Australia Post. Standard shipments take 2-5 business days for delivery and Express is delivered the next business day for metro orders.
International orders are sent via Australia Post. US and NZ are sent via their express service and will arrive within 5 to 8 business days.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes information to track your parcel.
You can take some comfort in knowing that picking your colours is the hardest part! 🌈
If you’d like to change your colours after your order has been shipped just email us at hello@cardigang.com.au and we can arrange an exchange.
Our knit kits have a 30-day return policy for exchange or refund, you'll just need to cover the cost of the shipping and ensure your kit is unused.
