Jane Beginner Cardigan Knit Kit in Grimace Purple

I was really excited to try this kit but really nervous that it wouldn’t actually be easy and I wouldn’t be able to do it… but it really is that easy! I’ve never knitted before and in a week I’d already finished the back and a front panel! So excited to finish the whole project and start wearing it!

This kit uses large kneedles which took some getting used to, but once I did it was great to see how quick my progress was. My result isn't perfect but it was good to practice undoing some mistakes and learning, and learning how to sew it all together was really enjoyable. Love the colour and am already looking at buying it again to make for a friend.

Easy to knit with and looking forward to seeing the finished product.

This kit has made it so easy for me to get back into knitting, I procrastinated for a while in making a purchase of this cardigan & am so happy I did end up buying it for a gift from my husband to me for Christmas hahaha. I have nearly finished it as I fractured my foot & have used it to distract my pain.

First time knitting and this pack was super easy. The QR code gave extra online goodies to explain the stages which really helped. I liked the inclusion of the images in these instructions.

The wool is lovely and you got plenty of it. Being a beginner it was hard to judge the pattern though, and so the sleeves are quite short. I was left over with remaining wool as well, but not knowledgeable enough on how to go back and extend my sleeves!

This cardigan was easy and fun to make as a beginner. The pattern and videos that assist are amazing at explaining the ropes to a first timer. Can’t wait to start my next project!!
