The workshop was awesome really fun and helpful way to learn, I just finished my first ever knitting project! Finally can say I’m someone who finishes things I start haha and the beanie with the practice wool is so cute, still have to finish the espresso one

This made our day. It was lovely to meet you and congrats on finishing your first knit - it's such a good feeling (and yes, it absolutely counts as becoming someone who finishes what they start 😌). Can’t wait to see the espresso beanie join the collection!

Super fun and tasty learning environment

I joined this workshop to learn how to knit so I can one day make my own socks. I already know how to crochet so I think I had a bit of a head start but plenty of people in the group were doing it for the first time and everyone left looking really confident to get cracking on their beanie. The teachers were fantastic at meeting each person where they were at and it made for a really encouraging learning environment. They also provided bottomless tea from T2 and maybe the best pastries I've ever eaten. The kit we received included a practice ball of recycled acrylic, a darning needle, knitting needles, a "made by me" label, the written pattern with links to an online version with videos, and a project bag. At the end of the session we got to choose a ball of Merino wool yarn to take home too, meaning you could actually make two beanies if you wished, and a bonus box of tea from T2 (greatly appreciated!). I've just finished my beanie and it's so cosy and warm. Highly recommend attending a workshop if you can get there 😁

Perfect beginner knitting workshop - fun, friendly & confidence-boosting!

I had the best time at the Cardigang knitting workshop in Melbourne! Cat and Morgan were so friendly, patient and encouraging – they made the whole experience feel relaxed, fun and completely beginner-friendly.

I came in not knowing how to knit at all, and by the end I had learned how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch and cast off. I even made my very first little project – a mini scarf for my dog, which I’m weirdly proud of 🐶✨

The way everything was explained made it easy to follow without feeling overwhelming, and the vibe of the class was just really supportive and enjoyable.

I’ve already ordered the Jane Beginner Cardi because it looks amazing – I’m definitely not there yet skill-wise, but this workshop has made me excited (and confident!) to work towards it.

I’ve also signed up for the June workshop and can’t wait to keep learning.

Highly recommend if you’ve ever wanted to try knitting or just want a really fun, creative experience!

Very helpful in-person session for beginners

Very helpful in-person beginners session - with the founders. Got me past some initial blocks (which I needed) to be able to make some real progress. Relaxed and informal - everyone one was very friendly and helpful.
ps - congratulations and good luck with the business

Great value in all ways!

I hadn’t picked up a pair of knitting needles in over 30 years but with Cat and Morgan’s gentle encouragement, I was off and running. Relaxed class with people of all ages. Some with absolutely no experience to others with some.
If you’re unsure don’t be, it’s fun!

Great workshop for absolute beginners (like me!)

Having never picked up a pair of knitting needles before, I came into this workshop an absolute beginner. I came out of it confident in the basics of knitting and excited to continue to learn! Thanks so much!

Great way to learn!

Really loved doing this in-person session and felt I was able to pick up techniques much quicker than if I had done them at home by myself. Great way to meet other likeminded people too :)

Great class!

I did both the beginners and granny square classes in one weekend and I loved them. I had tried to learn crochet via youtube and failed, but Cat and Morgan explained each step clearly and made it fun. The classes were a great size so we all got personal help. The take-home kits were great to keep practicing. Definitely recommend!

Really great!

Super helpful and good number of instructors to students
Only confusing thing was being asked to select the wool colour before the workshop but actually getting a different colour in the bags!
Great equipment to learn and I feel on my way to making the coaster

So much fun

Yesterday my 18 year old daughter and I attended the beginners workshop, neither of us had crochet before. My daughter didn’t really want to come but loved it so much she was crocheting in the car on the way home and has been working on it again today. We are looking forward to seeing you next time.
