In this hands-on beginner workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of knitting in a relaxed, supportive environment — no experience required. We’ll guide you step-by-step through casting on, mastering the knit stitch, and building the confidence to keep going at home.

You’ll start your own cosy scarf during the session and take home a full scarf knitting kit so you can finish it with confidence.

Tickets are on sale for our Melbourne workshops. The workshops are run at Cardigang HQ in Fairfield, Melbourne.

    Great Fun for Beginners

    these girls are such good teachers. This girl with the butter fingers picked up the basic stitches in no time with the guidance of Cat and Morgan. So much fun and I highly recommend to any one of any age

    So much fun

    Yesterday my 18 year old daughter and I attended the beginners workshop, neither of us had crochet before. My daughter didn’t really want to come but loved it so much she was crocheting in the car on the way home and has been working on it again today. We are looking forward to seeing you next time.

    Great way to learn!

    Really loved doing this in-person session and felt I was able to pick up techniques much quicker than if I had done them at home by myself. Great way to meet other likeminded people too :)

    Great class!

    I did both the beginners and granny square classes in one weekend and I loved them. I had tried to learn crochet via youtube and failed, but Cat and Morgan explained each step clearly and made it fun. The classes were a great size so we all got personal help. The take-home kits were great to keep practicing. Definitely recommend!

    Really great!

    Super helpful and good number of instructors to students

    Only confusing thing was being asked to select the wool colour before the workshop but actually getting a different colour in the bags!

    Great equipment to learn and I feel on my way to making the coaster

    Beginner crochet class

    Had a great time, girls were wonderful, helpful to be able have questions answered. All attendees had a good time. Time went very quickly. Would recommend to anyone interested whatever level your at.
